Do you have an idea that makes healthcare better?
Smart solutions are emerging on the healthcare floor every day. Ideas that simplify processes, improve the work of healthcare professionals or increase the quality of care. These solutions contribute to care innovation. Care innovation is crucial to the future of healthcare.
With Care Finding 5.0, In4Care Community seeks innovative real-world solutions that can become impactful for the entire healthcare industry.
Submit your healthcare invention for a chance to win €50,000 funding to further develop your idea.

From idea in the workplace to innovation in healthcare
With Care Finding 5.0, In4Care aims to help innovative ideas from healthcare practice grow.
Many solutions arise in the workplace, but often remain within one organization. With the healthcare finding, we want to make those ideas visible, strengthen them and help them scale up to the broader healthcare sector.
Therefore, we seek healthcare findings that originated in healthcare practice and have the potential to be applied in other organizations.
How can you participate?
Your submission consists of two parts:
1. A video message (max. 120 seconds).
2. A completed template with additional information.
Below you can read exactly what the file entails.
Deliver both together by August 31, 2026

FAQ Care Finding 5.0
Who can submit and do you need to be a member of In4Care Community?
You can submit a care finding if your organization is a care member of In4Care Community and has been a member for at least 1 year at the time of submission.
Can you collaborate with a company or other partner?
Yes, definitely. Collaborations are possible and welcome, for example a healthcare organization together with a company. However, we do ask that you describe that collaboration clearly and transparently in your file.
Important: even if you work with partners, the €50,000 is always paid to the submitting healthcare organization (the healthcare member).
Should the board/management be aware?
This section is a mandatory part of your submission. In the submission form you indicate whether the board/management is aware of the project and how they support it (strategically, organizationally, financially or not (yet). In this way you immediately make the support within your organization visible.
What conditions must your care finding meet?
We are looking for ideas that are already beyond a concept: your healthcare finding must be at least TRL 4 (working prototype, tested in a controlled environment). In addition, your solution must have potential to work beyond your own organization, i.e.: scalable to other contexts or healthcare organizations.
What can you win and what about financially?
The laureate will receive €50,000 funding to further develop the healthcare finding. In addition, a matching contribution of €50,000 is expected (in cash or in kind).
Financial terms (on the €50,000 funding from In4Care Community): of the €50,000, 20% will be used for In4Care Services (consultancy). Payment will be made in two installments: 50% at the start of the program and 50% after a positive final evaluation.
How long does a track run?
We are aiming for a project duration of 1 year. Does your project need more time to achieve a strong result? Then the duration can be extended to a maximum of 2 years.
What should you submit and by when?
Your submission consists of two parts that you deliver together: a pitch video of maximum 120 seconds and a completed template (the written explanation is maximum 3 A4).
Deliver your complete submission in a single mail to [email protected] with the subject line “Care Finding 5.0 – Submission [name of your organization].”
