The Patient Hackathon is a two-day
innovation event, scheduled for February 18-19 in Brussels. The goal is
to create new solutions for improving the healthcare journey of
patients and their caregivers. The hackathon is a first of its kind in
Belgium because it puts patients in the driving seat: the challenges are
being defined with patients and many of the participants will be
patients and caregivers themselves.
In a recent ideation
workshop with patients and patient organisations we finalised the
challenges for the hackathon. We are now looking for people who have
expertise in these challenges to serve as Challenge Experts during the
hackathon. As a Challenge Expert you will brief participants about the
challenge, mentor participants during the hackathon, and serve as a jury
member for the final project presentations.
Challenges:
Screening & Diagnosis
Self-management of disease
Follow up & monitoring
Patients at Work
Communication
