This privacy statement applies specifically to the website https:\/\/www.in4care.be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among other things, your personal data will be used for the proper processing and follow-up of memberships, purchases and event registrations, for managing your account or profile, for communication regarding news, activities and relevant information, for conducting satisfaction surveys, for accounting and administrative obligations, and for improving our services (such as through analysis of website usage). In all such cases, we provide appropriate safeguards. For example, we enter into required agreements with our suppliers and processors to ensure that they process your data confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your data will not be stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA), except for the performance of services or delivery of products necessary or with prior consent.If data is nevertheless processed outside the European Economic Area, we always ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission&#8217;s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.3 Use of data in research and testing activities ( In4Care Living Lab )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you participate in research or testing activities within In4Care&#8217;s Care Trial Garden\/Living Lab, we process only the personal data necessary to conduct the research (such as name, contact information, test results or images). This is always done with your prior consent via an informed consent form. This data is only used for research, evaluation and reporting purposes and is not shared with third parties outside this framework.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.4 Use of data at events<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you register for an event organized by In4Care, we process your name and organization to create a list of participants.We do this based on our legitimate interest to enable networking and a smooth organization of the event.<br\/>This list can be shared &#8211; on request &#8211; with other participants in the same event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your e-mail address or other contact information will never be shared with third parties in this context.<br\/>You always retain the right to have your data (name + organization) removed from the participants list by contacting inside@in4care.be.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>3. Length of time and retention of data collected.<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Client Management:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal data is kept as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as in the area of accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsletters and community updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email or update your preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that case, we will delete or anonymize your data, unless a legal retention obligation applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Event registrations are kept for up to 10 years in anonymized or pseudonymized form for reporting and statistical purposes. Personal data (such as name or e-mail) are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for organization or proof of participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>4. Security of your data<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Your personal data will always be treated confidentially.
